All known routes and puzzle solutions so far • Eurogamer.net

Everything we know about navigating the mysterious maze.

Destiny 2’s Corridors of Time is a surprise new quest, and has seen the Destiny community band together to work out its mysteries.

Released following January 14th, 2020’s weekly reset, it sees Osiris give you the vague task of exploring the Corridors of Time – a maze reached by activating the Sundial.

Within is a series of rooms branching off from one to the next, and by following the right path, you’ll find various endings. Though no one has ‘solved’ the Corridors of Time and completed the quest at the time of writing, various routes and some clues as to what’s next have been uncovered. Here’s what players have solved so far.

How to enter the Corridors of Time and how it works

To enter the Corridors of Time and pick up the ‘Exploring the Corridors of Time’ quest, visit Osiris, who can be found at his usual location at the Sundial, found on the Mercury director screen.

The quest will explain “there are places within the Corridors of Time that you haven’t seen yet”, and to get started, you must interact with the Sundial’s console to the right.

The Corridors of Time is essentially a maze constructed rooms branching off in multiple directions, with a symbol assigned to each. Follow the correct route via these symbols and you’ll reach an ending, giving you some lore and a possible further clue for how to solve the quest.

Once you have completed a route, you can reset the Corridors of Time by interacting with the panel to the left of where you first enter and before you run the maze.

It’s possible to use this reset button if you mess up the route or get lost. Note that if you die on your travels – these rooms are filled with Vex, which you are free to run past – then you’ll re-enter the maze wherever you left off, so there’s no need to start over.

How do you work out where to go? Each of the Obelisks found throughout the solar system – which were introduced during this current season – are currently showing a grid of symbols. This is a route you can take through the maze, starting with the upper right symbol, then clockwise around to the top, then to the centre panel.

This Obelisk tells you how to complete ‘Route 4’ in the below table.

Every Obelisk shows the same thing, and they all refresh every hour. So far, thanks to the likes of the raidsecrets reddit, 19 clues have been displayed by the Obelisks, each one leading to the same end location – the Timelost Vault – giving you a new piece of lore as part of a Triumph.

How do you complete the Corridors of Time quest in Destiny 2?

At the time of writing, the quest has yet to be completed, with 19 routes found so far resulting in the same ending. When you reach the Timelost Vault, you can look down and see a much larger series of symbols, with many speculating this is a clue of one final route you need to take, perhaps by combining several of these together.

With the lore book having 19 entries, and 19 routes discovered, the community seemingly has all the pieces of the puzzle to go on and reach the final conclusion – so it’s now a case of waiting to see what they turn up, with the raidsecrets reddit charting their discoveries as they go.

Additionally, it seems some routes can offer additional rewards, including an Emblem which has been brute forced by the community – and it’s possible there might be more of these discovered as time goes on.

In 2020 new quests have arrived in Season of Dawn – from the Corridors of Time to unlocking the Devil’s Ruin!

If you haven’t started this new season yet, you can begin by completing A Matter of Time as you collect new Powerful and Pinnacle Gear.

Earlier in the year, we’ve seen the recent arrival of the Garden of Salvation raid challenges, and elsewhere in Year 3 Armor 2.0, K1 Logistics, K1 Revelation, K1 Crew Quarters and K1 Communion locations.

There are also several new weapon quests, including the Deathbringer quest, Divinity quest, Leviathan’s Breath quest and Xenophage quest.

We also have a list of our best Destiny 2 weapons recommendations, which includes Jotunn and Le Monarque.

Destiny 2 Corridors of Time routes and puzzle solutions discovered so far

Obelisks across the solar system will cycle through one of 19 sets of symbols, hour-by-hour. Run the routes as shown, by going through the door next to the corresponding symbol, to reach the Timelost Vault and receive some lore.

The five symbols to follow – Flower, Snake, Diamond, Hex, Plus.

Note the order you run each route doesn’t matter – the route number is simply in the order they first appeared, and you’ll receive lore in order from 1 to 19 regardless of which one you start with.

The route doesn’t currently need to be showing on the Obelisk for you to run the route either – though some in the community have said that, if a route doesn’t work to try running it backwards, which seems to do the trick.
