Could we be seeing some Geralt and V skins? Maybe?
Fall Guys is a huge breakout hit it seems, hitting over 1.5 million players in the first 24 hours despite severe server issues that led to review bombings on Steam. But now the game looks to be getting future collaborations with the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 and now The Witcher.
The Fall Guys account has been jokingly pestering CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 account to discuss a possible future collaboration over the last few days. Originally, Cyberpunk 2077 was asked how many retweets would be needed in order for a collaboration to happen. Cyberpunk 2077 simply replied, “One”
Hi @CyberpunkGame how many retweets would we need to get for you to collab with us?

This led to Fall Guys asking for one retweet and the collaboration would be 100% confirmed. The tweet —which garnered 4.4k retweets— led to CD Projekt Red’s “legal department” reaching out to clarify that the agreement was literally one retweet. This saw Mediatonic attempting it again, asking more specifically for one retweet. It got 1.3k retweets.
Okay, I’ve just been on the phone with CD PROJEKT RED Legal Department
They said we literally need to do a tweet that gets EXACTLY ONE retweet… and then they will do the collab
PLEASE
ONLY
ONE
RETWEET
Nobody else https://t.co/PRluYk3xqp

This exchange also caught the attention of the Witcher game Twitter account. “LOL Cyberpunk. DM us for something more exciting.” the tweet reads. The Witcher account was asked to follow so the two could DM, and it seems to be happening. Whether we’ll actually see anything emerge such as in-game skins or specific cosmetics is yet to be seen. Of course, a pre-order bonus saw PC players get a Gordon Freeman outfit.
It’d be even more interesting if we saw some form of Fall Guy in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, through a poster or a plushie. Those are my hopes anyway! Meanwhile, other brands have been jumping on the craze that the game appears to have brought with it since launching earlier this week. Walmart is one, showing off an employee uniform photoshopped onto one of the in-game characters. Another I’ve seen is GT Omega who providers gaming chairs and racing equipment.
Fall Guys is available for PC and PS4.
